My name is Rocky Smith and I started Smith's Custom Taxidermy back in 1981. This is a full time professional shop that feels the customer deserves the best mount possible. We use the best tannerys, the best forms and supplies on the market, and use the latest techniqes available. Our mounts and awards rank our workmanship as some of the best in the nation. We specialize in only the highest quality .

After years of doing fish, small mammals, and African mounts, I have cut back to doing only deer, birds including turkeys, and a few big game mounts. My business has been so successful that my turn-around time was getting longer each year. So in order to continue to do top quality work my customers have came to expect and get their mounts back sooner without rushing them, I have decided to cut back on my work load. Turn- around time varies according to the time of year. We try and give you an estimate when your mount will be done, but please remember this is an estimate only and could change according to the workload we receive.
